Day 9 - the Pavilion

So let me talk a little bit about the hallmark of Ashburn village: the Sports Pavilion.    The Pavilion is directly behind our home crossing Ashburn Blvd and  we are highly enjoying the facilities which include a 32,000 sq. ft. building with a fitness center, 6 lane 25 meter pool, 2 raquetball courts, 1 squash court, full size gymnasium, Nursery , Sauna Steam room etc.  It is amazing.  Outdoors there are 6 tennis courts, 4 which are covered through the winter.  Three outdoor pools throughout the community one which is a wading pool especially for the kids.  The Pavilion also has a marina with canoes, kayaks and pedal boats.
The Pavilion is for Ashburn Village residents only and there is a fee for families ours is included in our rent.  I think it is about $100 a month.  Totally worth every penny especially after Zumba classs and having the whole gym for our family Saturday night to play b ball and soccer and do gymnastics and just run around, it was FABULOUS a huge plus to Ashburn, VA living!
The Ashburn area consists of many major and minor subdivisons such as Ashbrook, Ashburn FarmAshburn VillageBrambletonBroadlands,  Entire population is around 80,000.

ON OUR WAY HOME FROM SCHOOL VIA ASHBURN VILLAGE BLVD (that is the pavilion and marina)

We love that we are positioned in the dead middle of two cul-de-sacs and have great neighbors with lots of kids and dogs :)

 Headed to Zumba class
did a lot of walking yesterday

Mia and Harper neighbors waiting to play when we got home from Zumba.  They ended up making great art with the fall leaves Mati had collected throughout the day.
